I'm back and I have plenty of fabric to show for it...
Out of all of this fabric, I acquired a vintage piece.  It's a panel that depicts old storybook characters on it with yellow and white stripes in the background.  I think it'll make a perfect gender-neutral baby quilt for someone!  It's very crinkly, but after ironing, I'm sure it will be just like new again.

I'm going to my great-grandmother's this week.  We're leaving tomorrow.  I won't be posting anything for a while, but I am excited to be able to show her my progress on a couple of my quilts.  She's a quilter as well and is therefore very enthusiastic about my quilts, although mine are all machine sewn and hers are all handmade.  Her's are simpler, but much more beautiful in my eyes because every singe stitch she made on it was by hand.  I wish I could hand quilt, but I can hardly hand-sew (does a whipstitch count?), so there's not much hope for that!  Oh well...she loves to see my projects anyways!
